How to Notify Your Followers When You Create Content on LinkedIn

Did you know that you can now turn on notifications for specific people that you follow on LinkedIn?

That's really cool because you can get notified when particular people or influencers post something so you never miss their content.

What's even cooler though is that other people can turn this feature on for your content. All you have to do is ask them and educate them on how to do it. I'll show you how! 😉

First of all though, let me show you how to turn on notifications for someone else's content.

If you're NOT already following the person, from their profile just click on the '+ Follow' button if they're in Creator Mode like so, (I'm sure Richard doesn't mind me using his profile to show you this! 😂):

The '+ Follow' button will update to '✔️ Following' like so:

If they're not in Creator Mode click on the 'More' button and select 'Follow' from the dropdown like this (Ryan doesn't mind either!):

Now that you're following them, or if you were already following them, you'll notice a small bell icon next to the LinkedIn logo in their intro section.

Just click on that and voila! Just double check that the bell icon turns dark grey like this:

Now for the fun part...

To get people to follow you and get notified when you post, you need to tell them to do it somehow.

The best way I've found is to do it in your background photo like this:

Note that the position and direction of the arrows are important. I've checked that they work for both mobile and desktop views this way.
